The Maternity Experience
Very first step is to fill out the inquiry form at the bottom of the page, and I'll be in touch within 24-48 hours via email (if it's over the weekend, you'll hear from me on Monday)! Make sure to check your spam folder :) This email will have the investment information . Best time for maternity pictures is around 28-35 weeks!
We will chat through email to answer all of your questions, pick a date, and the perfect location of your choice. This can be in the Studio or around Savannah, Effingham, and Richmond Hill areas. I have a list I can provide for all of the locations I love to shoot at! Some locations require certain days of the week.

At this stage we would have talked about the details of your session, desired date, location, and collection that suits your family the best!
I will send over a booking proposal where you'll fill out a short but very important questionnaire, sign a photography agreement and pay your 50% non-refundable retainer. Once this is all squared away, you will be OFFICALLY BOOKED and on the calendar!!
3. planning
A "CCP Client Experience Guide" will make it's way into your inbox! This guide walks you through information about outfit ideas, tips and tricks with little ones, and what to expect during your photoshoot!
Within the week of your session, you will receive an email confirming the starting time, where to park, and where to find me at your chosen location! Also the remainder of the balance will be due within 5 days of the session.
4. session day
The day is finally here and we are going to have a blast!
My photoshoots are laid back, full of fun, laughter, and overall JOYFUL!
You will not have to worry about the pressure of posing, I will take care of that :)
5. your photographs
I know you are so excited to see your images!! Within a week after your session, I'll post 1-2 of my favorite images to Facebook as a sneak peek. Make sure to like/follow on Facebook so I will be able to tag you!
Your gallery will be ready within 2 weeks! You'll receive an email will access to your GORGOUS gallery! You will be able to download the gallery and purchase wall art if applicable!
Pricing is easy! It's a $250 nonrefundable retainer due at the time of booking to cover my time, talent, all pre planning, client closet, and session prep guide, etc.
After your session, you will receive an online proofing gallery. This is where you will choose which images you love!

We are so happy we found Constance and are looking forward to many years to come of her capturing beautiful memories for our family. She took newborn photos for us in July 2024 that we will cherish forever - they are stunning! Light and airy, crisp and clear - timeless. First, her communication is top notch. She contacted me quickly after inquiring on her website with a professional email and all questions immediately answered without prompting that I had in my mind - how it all works, timeline, difference in types of photos she provides, pricing - all of it. She also wants to genuinely get to know your family and goals for the photos to provide the best experience possible and meet all expectations. We had a complicated hospital stay and postpartum course and she was so flexible, caring, and checked in frequently and was able to adjust our photo session timeline to be the best to work for us. As a testament to her high skill level, she was able to capture gorgeous photos of a nearly one month old who also had colic at the time! Phew! At the photo shoot, we went to her studio. She had so many props, outfits, headbands, soothing tools and techniques for baby - everything set up. There is furniture to sit so we were able to feed and rock the baby which was so helpful. There was a changing station for her as well set up and a diaper pail. She had very soothing music on. It was a great environment! Constance had incredible patience. We never felt pressured or uncomfortable with our fussy baby and she even helped soothe multiple times which was so relieving. After, Constance kept in close contact and had an impressive turnaround time on getting the proof gallery and then the final gallery back to us. The gallery delivery is also on a very professional, beautiful, and easy to use platform. I can't say enough good things! I feel so incredibly lucky we found her. We already booked her Christmas minis as well! Look no further - you've found the perfect photographer!

Constance is amazing! I purchased two family sessions for my mom and mother in law and she made everything so easy. Constance is simply the best! She did our son’s 1 year smash cake session and family photos. Despite the 90 degree weather and a cranky baby, Constance worked her magic and was so patient with us. We will definitely use her in the future!
I contacted Constance last minute for newborn photos. (First time mom here!) she was so accommodating! She offered me suggestions on outfits, colors and recreated a few poses I had in mind.
Our newborn decided she wanted to run the show and throw a few curve balls in there. Constance was outstanding with her and captured her personality beautifully. I’ve personally never had the chance to get professional photos done until I got the chance with Constance. She worked so well with my kids, so patient while they got all excited. The session was so easy and laid back. The photos were better then I could have ever expected. I absolutely loved every photo she captured. 12/10 will definitely be back! We had Christmas Tree farm photos with Constance Carlton photography December 5th. The session was set up well and ran smoothly! Even with a hard headed toddler Constance kept rolling and thought outside of the box to get some wonderful photos for our family to enjoy!
Constance was thorough and patient with my newborn and two daughters. I really like how professional her communication was before, during, and after our session. She made sure there was total understanding about instructions, expectations, and payment. My 3 year old was particularly difficult on picture day, but that didn’t slow Constance down. She was also accommodating of my daughter with special needs to make sure she was comfortable and included. The final product was to die for. I will treasure these pictures forever.
Constance not only fit us in at the last minute for newborn pictures, but we’ve had our 3 and 6 month sessions with her! We plan to keep her as our family photographer! She always catches the sweetest and most perfect shots of our little love, and we love her for that! She is truly the best!!!!
