Common FAQs
Q: I have multiple children I would like to photograph separately and together, What do I need to do?
A: After selecting a collection, add the $50 additional sibling to your order! We will capture images of each child individually and all together during your timeslot!
Q: When will i recieve my proffing gallery
A: You will see your proofing images at your ordering appointment within 3 weeks of your session.
Q: Can I purchase artwork a la carte?
Yes, there will be an opportunity to purchase other artwork during the viewing appointment. A collection must be purchased first. A la carte artwork is perfect for grandparent gifts!
Q: Are payment plans available for a la carte purchases?
A: Yes, upon request a payment plan can be set up
Q: WHAT AGE IS BEST FOR HEIRLOOM PORTRAITS?
A: It is recommended that babies are at least 6 months old to around 8 years old. BUT I will photograph babies as young as 4 months old. Babies not able to sit will be on their back or tummy.
Q: Where do your heirloom portraits take place?
A: Portraits will take place at my studio in Guyton. Once booked, the address will be given in the photography agreement.
Q: What is a viewing and design appointment?
A: This is where you see your beautiful photos via video call or in person. I will help guide you in choosing your photos. I will help with wall groupings and composite placement of the images.
Q: What should my child wear?
A: After booking, I will send over a session guide that will have some local boutiques and brands. I do have some outfits for boys and girls ages 6 months to 4T in my client closet. For a true heirloom look, clothes that have ruffled collars, lace and smocking work best.
Q: When will I receive my artwork?
A: Artwork will be delivered within 8 weeks after order placement.

I’ve personally never had the chance to get professional photos done until I got the chance with Constance. She worked so well with my kids, so patient while they got all excited. We had Christmas Tree farm photos with Constance Carlton photography December 5th. The session was set up well and ran smoothly! Even with a hard headed toddler Constance kept rolling and thought outside of the box to get some wonderful photos for our family to enjoy!
Constance was thorough and patient with my newborn and two daughters. I really like how professional her communication was before, during, and after our session. She made sure there was total understanding about instructions, expectations, and payment. My 3 year old was particularly difficult on picture day, but that didn’t slow Constance down. She was also accommodating of my daughter with special needs to make sure she was comfortable and included. The final product was to die for. I will treasure these pictures forever.
